I don't know but the first lighting looked more soft and cinematic in contrast the second lighting looks harsh on the face

be careful with fluorescent lights in your shots! they have a refresh rate that can make a flickering effect in-camera, depending on your framerate. your eye won't pick it up, but the camera will. :)

Adding light in the background also gives it depth and makes it different than just taking without any light.

Putting the lighting on the farther side of the face actually completely changed the facial look of the model. Lighting really does play a huge role in Cinematography and Videography!

Not to confuse people, the correct pronunciation for bokeh is no “ah” sound. Just “bo-ke” from its Japanese origins.

ND filter is nearly essential for an operational low-aperture. Whites will be blown out unless you’re under super ideal lighting otherwise.

This video is too dark and makes the whole thing seem poorly lit. Maybe the brightness on your editing screen is too high and/or the room around you is too dark? I'm in a dimly lit bathroom and my brightness has to be all the way up for this video to look "normal", but then the whites of the interface on my oled screen screen are crazy harsh.. The surrounding shorts all look fine at about 2/3-3/4 brightness. Even other "cinematic" videos like Pat Kay look fine at those brightness levels.
