Another possible endling: you make it, sweaty, out of breath - and the train can't depart for another ten minutes due to whatever reason, and you stand there panting while other passengers calmly walk in behind you

The small „scheisse“ caught me off guard 😂

When they tell you "We hope you have a pleasant journey" after ruining my day once again, it feels like they say it on purpose

The only on time train in Germany is your connecting train ^^

This is too relatable especially the part where you refresh the connection 20 times in a minute 😫!

I experienced the same thing in France. Same story like 5 min exchange due to delay. I ran into the 5th car and then realized that my place is at the 15th car (the opposite end of the train). I had to walk 10 cars to my place to find out that a French guy already occupied my place because he thought I missed the train.

my trip in July on German trains was a surreal nightmare. My expectations came from German sterotypes of efficiency so I had an existential crisis as well - threw my whole believe system up in the air. Haven't recovered yet.

I`m pretty sure Deutsche Bahn's work is the most common cause of anxiety disorders in Germany

We moved to Stuttgart for work. As an American I was super excited to not have to bring a car with me and I could rely on the legendary German public transit. Even I was surprised how quickly I bought a car.

In so einer Situation vergisst man in jedem Fall noch sein Gepäck

This year I was in Japan and nobody there could believe that I was so fascinated about the Pünktlichkeit of the trains there.
They thought the german train system is #1 in the world when it comes to Pünktlichkeit.
Yeah, well, 40 years ago 🤣🤣🤣

I heard a lot of stories about DB. Never believed them until I spent four hours in Freiburg waiting for trains that kept getting cancelled. I caught a Flixbus in the end.

I love it when they say the train will arrive on a different gate in a very short time instead so you run for your life but somehow they changed it again to another one on the other end.

I like how there's a company called "Erfurter Bahn" which actually does not belong to Deutsche Bahn and is much better. I know those trains travel in the most northwestern part of Bavaria and in Southwest Thuringia. If those train will run late then that means something actually serious happened like a storm that is strong enough to tear trees from the ground and then falls on the rail which actually I experienced one or two times. And there is also only one platform so there is no way that there gonna happen some platform changing
