This video just saved the day, past week has been jyard trip switching fuse box and BCM's just to get different results that dont wrk. Anti theft locked horn lights flashing, another parking lights stay on after everything turned off . Thank you brother you are the Jeep Guy

Can you just go to the junkyard and get a BCM off of a used 2002 or 2003 and will it work

Hey I have an 04 Jeep Liberty and two days ago I replaced my alternator. this morning and the day before everything worked good but later on my locks quit working (only work when my key is in on position, and lock only works when door is closed, unlock works no matter what) my radio also no longer is getting power. any idea if that could be with the bcm or module that plugs into it?

I have a question. The black box that stores the codes, does it also hold the code for the transponder ignition key? I’m considering replacing a 2004 module for a 2002 module. I would like to use the 2002 key fob in the 2004 because it is missing. Will my ignition key still work?

I Just got an 03 liberty . Came with an aftermarket avital alarm but no fob...So I got one and had it programmed back in..2 days later I noticed the ajar switch light on the dash. not working..and the shop scanner read that is door ajar in all 4 doors .but that happened suddenly...So they said I could be the bcm.Also there was a burning smell coming from that fuse panel Driver's side... and sometimes the dash lights go on and fuel gauge drops with no reason...Your opinion . Thanks..When I took the fuses out I noticed alarm wiring that could have easily touched metal...and I taped it of.

Help! I have a 2008 Jeep Liberty. 2 years ago we had the BCM replaced. One year ago we began having the same problems. The car now would not start over Christmas--plus all of the crazy electrical stuff going off and on. I am not a mechanic. Suggestion please.

I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty. It keeps blowing the fuse that gives power to the radio, key fob, dome light. ( I believe it's fuse #34??), I had it checked out at a jeep dealership and they told me that I have a bad BCM. They also told me that they don't make them anymore and if I buy one they could program it only if it's new. So can I get a used one from a salvage yard or ebay to resolve this issue? Thank you in advance.

Hey I got a 03 jeep liberty I have a problem with just my left turn signal light and I checked the fuse and bulbs but still won’t turn on can some please help me only right side works I found Some relays on the back of the BCM but don’t know what relay is what

Excellent. How many screws to remove the whole unit. Could you make a video how to remove to get at that module to replace. I keep blowing the number 32 10 amp fuse and the alarm keeps going off short out.

I.m trying to find out, on my 2006 Jeep Liberty, which relay on the BCM controls what. I have low beams that do not work, while all other functions, radio, high beams, horn, interior lights, etc are fine. I've replaced the fuses so know they are good. I think the problem is either the relay on the BCM that controls the low beams, or the light switch on the steering column.
