Usually girls are terrified about wars. Anastasiia is a real Ukranian hero. She is a gem and represents Ukraine with her determination, love for her country and for freedom.

Accidentally stepped on a landmine? Opposed to what? Stepping on one on purpose?

Brave young woman in the defence of her country against the Nazi invaders. Nothing but admiration for her

There is a long tradition of women fighting in the Soviet army. There were 2, 000 woman snipers in WWII; 500 survived the war. The most famous was Lyudmila Pavlichenko, born in Kiev, who fought in WWII, in the siege of Sevastapol and the siege of Odessa. She traveled to the US seeking support for the war, and became friends with Eleanor Roosevelt. In Chicago''s largest auditorium, she said, "Gentlemen, I'm 26 years old and I have killed 309 fascists. Haven't you been hiding behind my skirts long enough?" She was wounded by mortar fire, sent back from the front as an instructor, and survived the war. She is a hero to Ukrainians and Russians alike.

All these negative comments about this brave woman are shameful. Tell me, what would you do if the United States of America was invaded by a blood thirsty mad man? Run or die fighting, If you're struggling with that question, your ancestors know the right answer.

Someone once told me that the internet doesn’t make people insane, it just exposes who they really are

It’s sad when you’re relieved that the soldier is still alive . Every time I see one of these shorts detailing a person’s life I imagine an obituary. God bless this warrior .

my niece is friends with a Ukrainian kid here in LA, most of his family are doctors more that 20 of them moved here, none are fighting in the war, it seems to me everybody with money got out of the fighting in the war
