Lots of people, busy, sounds like nightmare

I have been there 16 years ago, it was a nice place back then.

Now I have been there again. It has become a very touristic, busy, crowded and poluted place. There are just too many noisy stinking long tail boats. Background noise is filled with noisy stinking diesel engines. Ao nang beach has brownish water. raleigh beach has become an overcrowded tourist attraction.

the typical tourist is fat, white, has not a lot of money and wants to drink a lot of beer and smoke weed in a bar that is filled with very loud music.

Not an area to be for normal holiday seekers that are looking for a peacefull holiday.

Al those people that are posting on social media are biased and are sketching an image that is way to positive of the area which attracts so called ‘social media’ travellers that are not very travel educated.
