The way he walks back after 5 goals limping like he’s just defeated an army. Mental

The walk, the straight face, the jump cut to the scoreboard. This is perfection.

And the chilling part was. He didn't even score a single goal here. Yet the whole RM was helpless. That walk was the longest walk for many RM fans.

The Barcelona Team of 2008-12 had reached the pinnacle in effectiveness, style and beauty of their football, so much so that it caused a tactical revolution in European football.

It was such a dominant team and one can argue that it was the greatest and most dangerous club team in the history of club football. In those four years of ascendency, this game is arguably the one worth the most value. It was on this night they had reached 100%. in terms of danger and deadliness.

In this single night, the tactics, flow and pace of the game had reached its absolute peak. Every single player on that pitch on both sides played well. This Real Madrid team was star-studded, not wrose than the one that won 3 Champions League in row. They were also in great form and they did not play bad at all.

Yet, the combination of Dani Alves, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Villa and Messi at their very peak was simply overwhelming. In the history of FC Barcelona, this match was their best and most perfect craftwork. A jewel and treasure of a game performed to the utmost veneration.

One can say confidentely that if this Barcelona side, in the form that they were in on that night had met ANY team in the history of football. They could probably win.

It does not bode well to explain for those who have watched highlights despite how amazing they are. I suggest you guys re-watch the entire match and enjoy 90 minutes of perfection.

He walked out injured. But he just killed the biggest rival in sports history 5-0.

This moment gave me goosebumps all over my body. The way he calmly makes his way to the side with a shoe in one hand, bruised and hurt by the tackles he received. As he watches the spectators and glances at the score board, he feels a sense of fulfilment knowing the mission has been accomplished. CR7 cannot help but stare at him with a look of defeat and perhaps despair, acknowledging his rival's superiority. I will never forget that moment.

Just imagine how satisfying that “walk” must have been... dragging your balls across Camp Nou in front of your biggest rival
