In Tokyo, Japan, the 25th edition of the International Robot Exhibition (IREX) is underway, featuring FANUC Corporation's innovative solutions aimed at addressing critical workforce shortages across various industries, while also emphasizing energy efficiency and carbon neutrality.

Debuting on the global stage at IREX are the R-50iA and R-50iA Mate robot controllers by FANUC, aligning with international cybersecurity standards. These controllers boast enhanced control performance, system design, remote maintenance capabilities, and support for energy conservation. Additionally, FANUC presents the updated ROBOGUIDE system V10, featuring a revamped user interface, more realistic graphics, and the ability to pre-verify robot systems in virtual reality.

Central to FANUC's exhibition are their user-friendly collaborative robots. Notable models include the CR-35iB, capable of handling a 50 kg payload, and the CRX-25iA, designed for a 30 kg payload. FANUC is also unveiling a new series of collaborative robots tailored for the food industry, underscoring the company's dedication to providing automation solutions tailored to specific sectors.

In response to the widespread labor shortage, FANUC introduces straightforward and easily implementable automation solutions. The M-950, a new 500 kg robot, is showcased for efficiently transporting large car body parts in a space-saving manner, utilizing upper and rear areas. Additionally, FANUC presents the latest generation of the M-710 robot series, well-suited for logistics with its curved arm design that minimizes interference and reduces collision risks. The newly introduced 50 kg and 70 kg versions are specifically geared towards assembly and transport applications.
