I lived in Arizona for 38 years and San Diego for 4. I moved back to Michigan a couple of years ago. I can't believe the food desert this place is. I asked for tripe at the grocery store to make Medudo. The butcher didn't know what it was. What? Sweetbreads, Kidneys, Cabeza, Cesos, Lingua, tripas, and other offal meats? Go figure. I loved going to Puerto Penasco, the Baja peninsula, and Tiajuana. I am salivating now.
