CONVERTING MY WRECKED MERCEDES C63 INTO A BLACK SERIES

Im rebuilding a crash damaged Mercedes C63 W204 saloon which i bought cheap from auction. After fixing most thing mechanical we are onto the cosmetic side & it actually worked out cheaper to buy a Black Series bodykit for the C63 than it would to replace the parts like for like. when drilling fiberglass, run your drill in reverse until you go through the gel coat. this will make sure there are no weak spots as a result of drilling

Fit rear bumper first then you can line up the rear arches to match skirts and bumper. Also bond the tops of the skirts to the car. Brilliant channel and content mate your a ledgend

Looks like you going to have to bond the the side skirts, if your doing it remember to tape the edges, so not to get bond on the body where you don’t want it, but once it’s stuck it’s stuck won’t be able to remove it without breaking it, so repair chassis first, good luck with it looking forward to see it finished,

Hey mat, when I was fitting sideskirts to my mk6 golf we used the glue to stick windscreens on (the black stuff) for the perimeter around it and then drilled it into the bodywork of the car. Worked a charm and kept the inside water-tight. Hope this helps!
