Tks for the info. "Soft shooting" has been my bane for long time. It helped a lot.

Just stumbled across your content and loving the videos. This may be a really dumb question, but assuming:
1 - you have a consistent anchor point
2 - you are aiming consistently with the the tip of the arrow
What is it that you change and "do" in order to change that string alignment?
Regardless of if you are able to answer or see this, really helpful videos, thanks from the UK!

Can you make a video about plunger settings?

2:30 that’s what I did today at the indoor shoot, it worked perfectly and I got more consistent shots. Most of the misses were only due to things like elevation, too high/low, or I had the wrong point of aim, or dragged on release etc. I’m using a longbow without a shelf and a Korean bow too. I can’t remember if the string picture is in the middle for the latter one, but I’ll find out

Your form looked great left handed. Do you actually shoot both left and right handed?

Thanks, just working on this problem. Wife and I both shooting left and we straightened out our bow arm elbow. Then check arrow alinement and that is helping. The question we have is we fix alinement with elbow of bow arm? And good T shape with the rest of our form?

Hey Tara. Whats the difference between a "Galaxy Sage" and a "Samick Sage" bow?

As Jim ploen says line the string upwith the arrow

Presumably, the reason you’re hitting yellow with the string lining up with the inside of the riser, could be that its closer to lining up with the arrow rest. Therefore everything is lined up centrally.

My coaching sessions are getting me one step forward and two steps back.

My groupings are getting better, and am hitting more yellows than ever before. But keep having some wayward arrows which spoils my ends.
I know l need to work on my consistency. The locking down of of my upper body, and standardisation of grip, finger placement, feet and arm/shoulder positioning. But she watches me shoot, and thinks my drawing elbow is too low and moves after release.
Her recommendation is to raise my elbow higher than my right shoulder. This has made a modicum of improvement, but l struggle to to achieve standardisation.
Have you anything I can try to improve my consistency?
Absolutely loving your videos, they’re helping me no end. Thank you x

I need to close my left eye to shoot right handed, im unable to shoot left. Does the string allignment work the same when you only use on eye?
