Mate, it's your channel, you upload as much or as little as you like. You need time away occasionally for Omi and family. Everyone needs a break. If anyone complains then it's tough on them. I for one will always support your channel no matter how much or little videos you produce. I've followed you for some time now and supported your channel. I am extremely grateful for every video you post. As time has gone past, each video just gets better and better. A massive thank you!

I started carp fishing a few weeks ago. Got about 20-30 hours under my belt.
Caught my first carp yesterday, 7.1lbs
What a buzz!!!!

I work for a charity with kids. We work with them 1 to 1, one of the options they have is fishing, using the method is definitely the best way of fishing with them and a few of them have moved on and got their own kit. Them coming in the next week and telling me what they have caught is priceless. If your ever in Suffolk and fancy showing us how to do it properly feel free to come and grab a cuppa 😉

Welcome back.😊
I spent the first 65 years of my life worrying about things I couldn't change or control. Well done for making the best decision of your life at a relatively young age.😂
Take care !!!

Carl, about three and a half years ago I had a massive change in my work. I left a cushy little job making paint for my model building sponsor. I decided to go and build sheds for a living. I'm 5, 6 and at the time I weighed 14st. Now after 42 months I weigh 10st 8oz and have never felt better. I have said before your videos have inspired me to do more fishing. This has had an effect on my boss who now comes weekends fishing with me. We have a great social and are now really good friends. Living in the Waveney valley I have access to The Waveney and multiple lakes for silvers and of course Carp. I live about 5 miles from the lake you and Alex fished in Homersfield and that one is on my bucket list. Because of you and the Monster Carp boys my Mojo for fishing has got to red status lol. Without taking a risk, and a job, not knowing if I could actually do it anymore. It turned out to be the best move I could of made.

Sometimes change is good and sometimes change is great. For me it has been great. I hope the same works for you.

I can watch your videos all day. So natural, so calming. Reminds me of "Bob and Chris" from "passion for angling", , do whatever you feel you need to pal 💪

Your films are the perfect blend of technique, art, heart, and soul. I’m always excited to watch your latest production, but you are one of the few creators of whom I go back and rewatch films - so that’s saying something about your storytelling. Keep doing it your way Carl - wherever you are in your journey. I’ll keep watching!

Hi Carl, your fishing channel has been what’s got me wanting to get fishing, dabbled a bit about a decade or so ago as I’ve always played more active sports (football, tennis, golf etc) My brother’s a very accomplished angler ! And it’s probably something that we’re now going to do together. You bring a real joy to it, I’m 54, and I look after my mum who has Alzheimer’s, I have big worrries sometimes, but experience in life has taught me not to worry too much as things are always going to be ok in the end, and life is life. Your vulnerability is probably a large factor in why you have a successful channel, and you’re doing something you love, you’re going to have ups and downs, but as an outsider looking in, you have so many great things In your life. So my advice to you my friend is this, continue doing what you’re doing, keep the people in your life that should be there, be kind to yourself, and don’t worry too much ! you are always exactly where you should be in life ! God will continue to bless you mate, what you do is incredible 👍

Carl, change is always good! Its been a joy watching your channel the past few weeks since taking up fishing. Ive learnt so much from watching yours and Alex's videos, they're bang on. You make the complicated bits seem so easy with your simple discriptive approach. Keep up the good work! Quality over quantity any day.

You have such a calm manner, which helps loads when explaining anything to do with fishing, and you know what? It doesn't matter how much you upload... it's always quality.
ALSO, I night fished at a Cat lake in Bedfordshire a couple of weeks back, and lost some big ones, I couldn't keep them. My 20lb line kept breaking. THEN at about 3am I got caught in the storm of storms it was scarily exciting.
I blanked, not sure what to do to about the line... as can't use braid on this lake.

Thank you Carl for relighting a kindle in my heart I’ve fished before but left the hobbie and struggled with mental health and anxiety for a long time and I found your videos which drew me back to fishing and I now have never felt this happy in years honestly your videos mate my day I’m new here but I just scale though the old videos to entertain myself you have honestly done more for me then you could have realised I was going down a bad path about a month ago and you’ve showed me back to fishing with has saved me, I don’t think I’ve felt this happy since before my brother died 4 years ago but you’ve shown me how getting out by the river can make me feel normal again and make my head not feel like it’s going at 110 mile an hour, thank you Carl I really appreciate everything you have taught me and done for me keep up the good work and we all appreciate what you do even if you need a break a lot of us will welcome you back with open arms 🎉❤

Also your feeder box looks a fanatisc idea, I stopped fishing over 20 years ago due to having the time and lost interest, but I've found myself spending more time watching fishing videos and now son really wants to try. I went to a tackle shop but felt lost and didn't really know what I needed anymore, but now I think I do with one of them boxes. Keep up the great work mate
