I just swapped from 4:3 to 16:10 and it feels so crispy and easier to track opponents strafing.

16:9 is not bad, it's just that, we prefer 4:3 more (I also play on 4:3)
16:9 has wider field of vison so it can be helpful competitively

4:3 got me out of silver back in the day, going back to 16:9 got me out of gold and up to LEM right before cs2

Here is the thing.

4:3 doesn't give you any competitive advantage the hitbox doesn't get bigger and models move "faster" so...

most pro use it because other pro's before them used it. Most OG pros use it because they are used to it since they've been playing since the dawn of CS.

Basically it's a cycle of following what others are doing not testing for yourself.

Another thing to mention is that most pro's don't have 2 monitor when playing therefore 4:3 is not the pain in the ass it is for anyone with 2 or more screens.

Try both and see which one you prefer, that's that easy. Copying what settings the pro's are using won't make you a better player. Getting better at the game will.

Just play with better graphic so you can see clearly who the enemy and who is your team mate.

16:9 or 16:10. Mainly 16:9 cause anything else fucks up with my second monitor and its very annoying.

Why, 4:3 puts you in a disadventage where you die much more because didn't seen sn enemy. This happen all the time for pros but they keep 4:3. Feels to me like an idiots copying settings from the best players. Same shit was with stretched

I prefer 16/9 because on 4/3 since its a bit stretched it looks like you are getting peeked faster

I played on 4:3 for 2 years, switched to 16:9 and after a week got used to it and im playing better than ever. res doesnt really matter

I was a hardcore 4:3 player on csgo, but for skme reason on CS2 16:9 feels better? Anyone else? Also i tried but it looks horrific 😂 I'd rather run the game natively and enjoy the graphics lol

4:3 stretched all the way. 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x960 the only 3 resolutions that make sense
