In this segment, we start our discussions and derivations of the property of entropy. We first derive the Clausius inequality which states that the cyclic integral of differential heat transfer by the temperature (which we call entropy) is equal to or less than 0 for both reversible and irreversible cycles. Furthermore, we also show that for a reversible cycle, the cyclic integral of entropy is 0, while it is lower than 0 for irreversible cycles. I works for that system you have created. But how can you extrapolate that inequality for any system?
