There are already apps that track your usage and habits. I don't think Apple is the problem. Rather, it is facebook/snapchat etc. - they need to build in tools to moderate usage. For example, users put in a daily cap for their facebook usage time, and facebook throttles content after that. Also, gamification of "likes" needs to be moderated.
