Top Rank blocked a few of the fights in the back half. Cleveland Williams, some Frazier, some Oscar Bonneveta, some Floyd Patterson II. So if you are watching along and then there is a weird cut as those fights are coming...thats why. Basically this is the case on any boxing video of mine if you watch and suddenly it just skips past a section or a fight. It's annoying, but either i gotta hit remove the clip, or the video stays blocked. Sorry. Still mostly in tact though, just a few of those great fights lost :(

How an older Ali beat the younger, prime George Foreman is definitely one of his biggest wins. And the fact that decades later, George comes back, wears the same shorts he wore in the Ali fight, and capture a world title, adds a lot to the story.

Ali in his prime had it all. Hollywood leading man looks, supreme athletic ability, amazing intelligence with the gift of gab, and charisma for days.

The story of Muhammad Ali is that of a man of conviction and faith who was beloved by millions. His integrity, the fact he stood for something bigger than boxing, along with his openness, sense of humor, and natural charisma, all coalesced with his ring success to make him a superstar. Books, television specials, comics, games, toys, movies, plays, video games; accolades and tributes from people like James Brown, Diana Ross, Madonna, Norman Mailer; honorary degrees from universities and the Presidential Medal of Freedom; a museum and cultural center established in his name in Louisville, Kentucky; the Olympic flame lit by his trembling hand in 96 -- Ali became, and will forever be, larger than life. Yes, boxing was the springboard to all this, but the man’s influence will continue to be about much more than sports. Muhammad Ali was, and is, the People’s Champion, and his legacy will no doubt outlive all of us.

Me growing up in the 60s and the 70s my father always told me back then, that Muhammad Ali was the greatest... I didn't know what he meant, later in life my father said he was the smartest person ever.. my father said that it was an understatement.. I might add, , he was 100% correct

Lots of people talk about Ali speed, but his chin is something to behold, nobody could knock Ali out, Frazier, foreman, shavers, Holmes beat an old Ali but couldn’t knock him down, RIP champ

I never get tired of watching Muhammad Ali and he is undisputedly the greatest heavyweight of all time. People can try to make arguments against that but their arguments are without basis. One of the greatest boxers of all time and one of the greatest personalities in all of history! 🥊💥💪🏿💪🏿✊🏿

Hall of Fame All Time Great Muhammad Ali is the only boxer to be named Ring magazine Fighter of the Year 6 times. He was involved in more Ring Fight of the Year bouts than any other fighter and held wins over 7 other Hall of Fame inductees. Ali appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated on 38 different occasions, second only to Michael Jordan's 46. He also appeared on the cover of Time Magazine 5 times, the most of any athlete. Ali was crowned Sportsman of the Century by Sports Illustrated and was named Athlete of the Century by USA Today. Several of his fights were watched by an estimated 2 billion viewers between 1974 and 1980. Ali is the only boxer in history with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. What he did inside and outside of the ring was an historical social phenomenon and master class entertainment. "Ali is the greatest and most famous sports figure in American history, and indeed, world history. That is to say greater than Babe Ruth, Joe Louis, Joe DiMaggio, Jim Thorpe, Usain Bolt, Pele and, yes, Michael Jordan." - The Ring

The fight that made Ali so great was his second fight against Ken Norton . If he never won, he’d never have a shot at the title again, and might never be as great as he was . He’ truly was a legend. The greatest of all time . Rest in peace dear Ali, the world misses you

I'm not who I was after learning of the great Muhammad Ali. He truly was bigger than the sport and continues to affect lives beyond his passing. We as men (or women) can only dream of being as impactful in our own time and in our own way. Thank you for this, Joe.
