The Pension Scam Process

Pension scams offshore rely virtually exclusively on the collusion of the life offices - or, rather, death offices. These companies, including Quilter, Utmost, RL360, Friends Provident International, Hansard, Investors' Trust and Lombard, routinely do business with scammers with no investment license. The life offices - also known by the scammers as the "product providers" - accept forged investment dealing instructions, even though they know the scammers have no license or qualifications to provide investment advice. Long after the horrific losses and destruction start to appear, the death offices continue to accept business and investment instructions from the same scammers over and over again - even knowing full well that the same losses will result. But, worst of all, the death offices will keep on paying fat, undisclosed (and illegal) commissions to the scammers.

The worst part of the scams facilitated by the death offices is the "investments" they offer on their platforms. The scammers get to pick from this selection of investment "opportunities" the most toxic ones which pay them the highest (hidden) commissions. Even though many of these investments - including complex structured notes which are only suitable for professional investors - have historically caused horrific losses, the death offices keep on offering them because it keeps their lucrative business coming in through the door via the scammers.
