I think what would be great would be a video on starting a label. I'm taking a music business class in college right now and we are in the process of starting our own label. I think it would be great hearing from you guys on how you started and how far you have come and what were the steps and sacrifices that you made to reach this point.

Can we get a video aimed at bands from outside the US trying to get noticed by management and labels in the US such as Artery? And trying to have a presence across the pond whilst not being there 24/7? For example, we're in the UK, there's no language barrier, but flying out to the US to (potentially) play shows is a huge financial risk with a minimal fanbase over there and no US tours really being offered. What would you suggest? Focussing on online international presence to build that kind of a worldwide fanbase up, or focussing on getting big in your home country and then expanding to other regions, or something else?

I would recommend only having an instrumental in the next video. Otherwise you're competing with the vocalist of the song and it's distracting.

So I have a few questions that I would really appreciate answers for. I write my own music solely off of my phone, and I have some decent material, and I've just recently shared it on SoundCloud. I really want to develop some buzz for my music, but my ultimate question is how do I improve the quality of my music? what kind of apps can I run off of my phone to make quality music, and how? Where can I find information to help me develop the right sounds that I'm looking for?

I'm still a beginner so it'll be years before I no longer suck IMO, but what is all the legal stuff behind making a record?
For example if I want to have a logo with letters, do I have to find rights to a certain font? Also, how long have most musicians been playing before they put out a record (regardless of being signed)?

in other words you're gonna need to be a rich kid, ready to post shirtless pictures to get girls attention cause your music is bland and uninteresting or a badass musician with innovative motives, those two RARELY go together, so it's either one or the other
