Woah that yarn store sounds toxic 👀 can't wait for the story time (if you're comfortable sharing). All your knits look great!

As someone who also really got into crochet a few years before knitting, I've been having so much fun learning different seamless knit garment constructions (raglan obviously, drop shoulder, saddle shoulder, round yoke, etc) after personally doing a lot of seaming in my crochet garments. Great video!

The first quilt I ever made was a beautiful king sized one, with few flaws. That's because I watched a ton of videos for each step and had so much patience because I was learning. No one would believe it was my first quilt. Like you, I had sewing experience, so I could take my existing knowledge and apply it to new skills to make an impressive project right of the bat!

I've knitted for about 20 years and I've never made a sweater, good job making one as your second project ever! I just learned how to crochet after trying to learn for years and never getting it, and now that I'm finally making granny squares people are all "no you didn't learn crochet a few weeks ago, you're lying" so i totally get what you're talking about with people thinking you're just going to lie about something that... it makes zero sense to lie about?
You do knit super fast though! Other people I know who have made sweaters seem to say it took them months and you should start planning like a year ahead, and you've made two in your first month knitting it looks like? That's impressive. Still not something I would do, I get so bored working on one project for a long time, even if I make a blanket I need to cut it into lots of very different squares or something so I'm not doing the same thing twice. I've made socks before, but never twice from the same pattern and I feel like the sleeves would be the same thing, I wouldn't want to knit (or crochet, once I get better at it) another sleeve just like one I've already made, I'd be too bored.

Anyway! Great job, you've made lots of cool stuff :)

It's impressive that you carried on after you left the yarn store, shows you really get something from it

I don't understand why anyone would think you where lying. I started kntting in august of this year and my first project was the step by step sweater by handmade by florence. I have been crocheting since 2010 and knitting was so much easier to pick up because of that. Ive now knit multiple socks, cardigans and a vneck sweater. I think some people just don't understand that some peolple can learn things faster or even if you really want something work hard to learn. EDIT: why where the knit store people trying to gatekeep knitting so hard...? really strange behaviour
