I never played this before so playing Retold now in my 30s is like finding a gem I skipped over as a kid. This game is incredible and if it wasn't for this remaster I'd never have known.

This game is waaay more fun that AoE in my opinion. Being able to use mythological units like Egyptian sphinxes and Nordic dragons is dope.

I mainly bought it to play skirmishes against the AI as i do with every other strategy game.

Age of mythology was my first pc game when i was 9 years old. I have never tough one day to see this game remastered. The RTS genre has become so niche that compagnies dont have interest of investing money in them. Another game that would deserve that treatment is Rise Of Nation.

I vividly recall the awe I felt as a child of 8 when I first saw the original age of mythology being played by my older brother on his computer. Thus began a lifetime of love for history and strategy games.

For those new players, check the learning tab in the main menu 😁 it really helps, besides we have a good amount of MODS already for you to customize your games... The gamr is really good for its genre guys, dont get influenced by those bad commemts 😅 most of them are kust jelous fanboys from other RTSs.

I wish the next project in line is Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds 2. Already uses Aoe engine but licensing stuff can get in the way… but if SW Bounty Hunter was re-release - we can dream right?

Genuinely excited for them to add the Chinese pack. The old one was severely undercooked but this is a really good opportunity for them to completely revive it.

I played Age Of Empires and really liked it but when Age Of Mythology came out I was in heaven lol. I will be getting this for sure.

Huge AoE and civilization fan as a kid and coming back to rts games as a kid. This really is one of the most fun ive ever played.

Normaly i dont buy some advanced access packs like here. But AoM was different case. Additional MS did a great job to the of the AoE Franchise.

They have also a included mod manager and there are mods to Bring the legacy voice lines in different languages by different modders. Was very happy be able play with old german ones :3 And they fit very well 😊
