I actually enjoyed watching the show, like a 1000 episodes into the anime, but the show is like a fresh reminder of where everyone started. Dont know how long netflix is commited to making the show but hopefully they will continue it.

Arlong's fury against humans is really deep and dark as we go deeper into the story. Given the history of the Fishmen. You'll understand his actions.

All Blue is not a restaurant, it is a sea with all the fish in the world in it, a cook paradise. And Kuro didn't eat a devil fruit, he is just very fast. I was higly suspicious when this show was announced, but it turned out to be pretty good and respectful of the source material. Knowing East blue is one of the weakest arc (but you have to start somewhere), I'll definitly be there for season 2. Can Netflix keep this level of quality for 20 years ? We'll see.

This was an excellent recap of the show, dude. The only mistake I heard was when you talked about sanji's dream. The all blue is a legendary Ocean, not a restaurant.

8/10 Actually enjoyed this live action version. Enjoyed it even more with the Japanese audio from the original anime cast.

Thank you for recapping One Piece. I was on the fence of even seeing it because of how poor Netflix's track record on adaptations have been. Glad to see they finally made a decent one.
