Please confirm regular iodized table salt. Not kosher salt or would either work but different effects. Very cool.

I noticed that it worked better for me when the paint was less watery by the way I'm using regular a4 paper

Did you use a wet on wet for the gradient? I adore this and have had two failures and one semi success. Wondering what I’m doing wrong. Thanks

I can never get that effect from salt (any effect actually). I have tried in wet paint and slightly wet paint. Nothing happens except salt being on my paper 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank you. This will take some practice for me. I think my paper wasn’t wet enough because the salt effect was not as dramatic.
