Tapeworms! Finally, a Parasite that's Gross, AND Harmful!

I read on a message board once they were talking about how they like their steaks.  And this one person said once a month they buy two steaks.  They sear the outside of it, put salt and pepper on it and eat it.  And the second one they just eat it raw with salt and pepper on it.  They were talking about how the meat loses it's flavor how well done it is the worse it tastes. 

And how they don't believe in getting food poisoning from a raw steak that is just to scare you.  If they cannot eat it that way may as well skip eating one at all.  The visual of someone putting salt and pepper on a steak and just eating it like that without cooking it haunts me to this day.

I have mixed feelings about you. I love you because I feel comfortable listening to you and you make interesting stuff sound more interesting (Read frightening), and you are really good at what you do. But I hate you because you scare the shit out of me. I just recently subscribed and all I have seen so far are these parasite videos and I always end up with an ache in my stomach. I have a suggestion for your next episode, how about some unicorns, rainbows and everything nice?

Obligate parasites ie ones that cannot complete their life cycle without a host is a good reason for believing that no benevolent all powerful God exists.

That's why I wouldn't eat any meat until it's been cooked to a 'well done'. I can't imagine myself eating a 'rare' meat O_o.
