In this video we are finishing ripping the boat apart. I have not been able to touch it for 5 months and found some surprises inside. I also hope you guys can help me out with the plan for the boats inside structure and where to put things. Enjoy!

Yea, finally actual boat vid again!
If the liner is that rotten - how's the fiberglass cabin top doing? I would check for any osmosis before you install new liners, if you haven't already.
Mainsail seems way too small, will not do much difference, but I could be wrong. Genoa looks about allright for a 150% and will work great in light airs (provided there is enough room on the headstay of course), but you also need a smaller one for when it blows, this one will tear the mast off in 20 knots. Fuel enclosure needs separate drainage overboard. If you just waterproof the enclosure - water will be standing there all the time, coming through the hatch.
also, a week autonomous trip seems a bit overkill, you will have to figure out where to store enough freshwater, fuel and where to empty your porta potty often.
Hope that helps!

My Cal 20 has a spongy deck and de-laminated overhead. I was thinking of detaching the keel and rolling the hull upside down to let gravity help. Thanks for showing me a better way toward fixing it. I will watch your videos to see how you approach actually backing the fiberglass deck with new plywood.

I am doing a very similar project on my own Cal 20. Best of luck to both of us :)

The boat will be nice for day sailing and an occasional overnight trip, but I think it's too small for longer trips with four people. I suggest that instead of trying to outfit it for longer trips, enjoy it for a couple of years then cash out your sweat equity and buy a bigger boat for cruising.

Make sure that where ever you store gasoline it's very well ventilated or you risk an explosion.
