Very nice, Evan. You might consider how to install a permanent access ladder to the roof since you may need to maintain that array every once in a while.

Very impressed, Evan, that you were able to complete this huge job, while also filming a great video for your viewers. I love everything about this video from the "eye in the blue sky" views of your house and property to your ability to make it look easy to get the panels in place by yourself while describing the process. Great job. Kudos to Rebecca, too, for her important part in the whole process.

They look like a professional installed them, glad Rebecca was their to retrieve the ladder. Always a good idea to have someone around when your on the roof. Looking forward to the baby duck, keep us informed

Evan I just want to say I really appreciate how your always open about cost. That is always a uncomfortable topic to even talk to people you know. It’s not really anyones business but it sure helps all of us get a good idea for our projects

Evan a couple of eye hooks (heavy duty) installed on your pole barn at high level means you always have a location to tie or bungee cord the top of your ladder to the barn whilst in the roof. It stops any risk of falling in the wind and more importantly is secure when you are climbing back off roof. A few dollars well spent

Great job Evan and Rebecca, She's always saving your bacon isn't she. lol She's a great helper and goes above the expected on so many occasions. Glad she was there to keep you working. Looks good and looking forward to seeing how things are going with the solar install next winter. Keep up the great videos and having fun around there. Fred.

Must be very satisfying seeing a job well done. Sometimes you've just got to get on and get the job done by yourself. Great work. All the best 🇬🇧.

Really appreciate you citing some of the codes related to this project. I had no idea about leaving walkways for firefighters but that makes sense.

God keep you safe, because I know you aren’t going to pay the wind any attention, ❤

As a fireman, I didn’t know about the shut off switch. Good to know! Thanks!!

Your workshop plans are coming along nicely w/ the interior walls & roof top solar panels. It's great having nicer weather for tackling those outdoor tasks!

Always secure the ladder with a rope lead that you can grab if it falls

They look good. I’m glad the wind didn’t blow; that would have been a disaster.😊❤❤❤❤

I'm glad you didn't have wind/tornado damage. I drove from Vincennes to Robinson then by Sullivan last Saturday. Oh my goodness the devastation.

Suggestion you need to tie off ladder always wind can happen any time also recommend a slide out prevent tie off to keep bottom of ladder from walking out at the base been there and done that and got stuck on roof and have the bottom slide out while on ladder if you use ladders long enough it's just matter of time it will happen
