То есть. Вместо того, чтоб взять кусок проволоки, гвоздь, шайбу или просто электродом на малом токе наплавить, вы предлагаете ухайдохать электроды для такой операции? 500 полуляхов из двухсот пятидесяти.

I'm welding all processes for over 30 years now. Honestly this is wasting time and energy. If you want to close a hole or gap, just use another rod in your other hand as a filler as if you are brazing or like welding Tig/ argon. This way you still have the slag for a sound weld. Actually this video method will give you hell when trying to tack that rod to the other.

Во первых не "Пайка" - а "Наплавка".
А во вторых - пока ты зачищаешь электроды или подготавливаешь по длинное прутики - я уже успею 20 таких отверстий простыми электродами заплавлю. Так что - извини - но заново велосипед изобрести у тебя не удалось.
А если по чесноку - то сейчас это делают намного быстрее полуавтоматом. Включил - наплавил - выключил - делов на 5 секунд.

250 полулях из 250, можно просто электродом заварить и не ломать электроды для этого

Просто проволоку возьми в одну руку, а второй вари электродом .Сделай по больше ток.Сечение дуги у электро сварки позволяет варить с присадкой

I've an old shop teacher who would take one look at those welds and instantly fail you.

For him, It did not matter what you welded, you still had to do it right.

That is just wrong. The welds are FLAWED!
The time you need to prep for that "technic" takes too long.
Also, the flux is not there for nothing. It's protection for the weld to ensure a propper FUSION of the base metal with the added metal (the weld). Your welds are full of holes (pores), which are DEFECTS!

You could also use a bigger rod or do multiple passes. The flux isn't there just to have something to chip off after welding. It's there to help make a sound weld.

I have welded for 25+ years & have also used 6011 rod & nickel rod to accomplish the same results. Rarely have I chipped off the flux on any rod. I have never had to use fill rod for arc welding. I dont mean to be negative, but as long as you are having fun. Your video did grab my attention. Thumbs up

I have used a similar but simpler method for years. If you use 6011 rod it works with the coating on. You don't have to weld the rods together just hold one rod in a gloved hand. Make sure you have a glove on. Set up the other rod as you normally would. Use that rod as a torch. Usually a pushing action works best. Hold the other rod like you would for gas or tig welding. it's the filler but also controls the heat. Using this technique you can quickly fill holes or weld the end of a pipe shut.
It should be noted that welds bridging such large gaps are considered sub standard in many applications.

Если нужно просверлить дыру большего диаметра чем есть под рукой, то он долго не поставит два сверла и вперед
