Great guide, but there is one thing I would've mentioned. That is the extended back hop. If you dodge with your weapon out with no directional input you will hop backwards, do it again right after and you will hop again. But if you press backward on your directional thumbstick at the same time as the second back hop you will hop way further. This is increased even further with evade extender. This advanced technique has been a core of Gunlance mobility for many games now and is super satisfying to pull off while repositioning or chasing a monster down.

By far the best guide for a weapon I’ve seen for monster hunter not even kidding I went from spamming the side step and missing very attack to full combinations on tempered Gore . Everything down to the bread and butters to get you shells back for wyvern fire to which combos to use for which shelling types . Great video man fr

Hey man this is a great guide, and for the short window full burst combo if you're just wailing on the monster, you can do a hit with Y/▲ into quick reload instead of the dash for more damage

I'd say this was an amazing detailed video even for us GL veterans to see the main differences in Wilds. Especially the "new" way of playing Wide shelling. However one thing missing was the Long, I don't think you talked about it enough imho to see if and how it differs from Normal, if at all
