Floyd all day. His boxing I, Q was universally sounded. And his defense was almost literally flawless with a chin that got tested by Shane mostly, and Shane was known for his right hand. Floyd also fought way more world champions.

Bud's toughest fight was a prime Gamboa --who was really good at the time but I think prime Floyd beats prime Crawford. He's just too complete. He's like an encyclopedia of boxing tactics and they are all automatic.

From a judge perspective I would see defensive mindset vs. Offensive mindset. I think Floyd would have higher punches landed percentage but Crawford would land more meaningful punches. Quality over Quantity

The sparing footage of Floyd isn't how he normally fought. When fighting he didn't talk and use as much mind game antics. He fought more aggressive than that.

The footage of bud was more accurate to how he fights in real fights.

Please be advised that there is pretty boy floyd and money may. Pretty boy floyd was an absolute terror. Both versions is smart, defensive and adaptive reactive. PBF was faster, sharper, engaged more had a high Ko ratio

Prime Mayweather vs Prime Crawford at 147 would be a Super Mega fight. The level of talent in the ring would be unparalleled. If I had to chose a winner. It would be Mayweather by SD. Crawford would give Mayweather the toughest fight ever like his fight against Emmanuel Augustus. Floyd would bleed to win.

Crawford said himself that he will only fight 2-3 more times and retire! He's an all time great. I wish they at least started beforehand! Also, how they spar is NOT exactly how they fight, so idk how much this helps us understand how the would actually fight.

My opinion: Bud, Tko/ko (very defensively sound may will invest too much into defense but power in bud's both hands will start to play a role in body shots to slow may down eventually & prevent may with enough legs to maneuver away for 12 rds. and power to keep bud off of him) everyone went for may's head & miss, bud too smart. Everyone knows to slow/breakdown down a defensive boxer you gotta chop him down like a tree but you gotta brawl regardless of taking hits keep coming forward.
