Bud, we know you the real deal, but Floyd literally was and is boxing. Literally that mans had the best smoothness, relaxation, is a perfectionist in form and has an unmatched IQ as well as determination. No one has ever wanted boxing more than Floyd Mayweather Jr and that includes you. That man has sacrificed his whole life for it including LOTS of family time AND family, loved ones, relationships, etc. No one has ever had the amount of pressure either that Floyd had when it comes to leaving an A+ performance even if the fight was “tough”. Like please go back and watch Floyd vs Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, I don’t care how much of a Floyd hater you may be, but there is LITERALLY no more beautiful boxing than THAT. Everything is perfectly balanced. And you could see this in ALL of Floyd’s fights. It hits back to a statement George Foreman said about Floyd when fighting Genaro, boxing to Floyd is like a “walk in the park for him”. And go watch Floyd in the olympics, talk about perfection. And I know Rigondeaux looked beautiful, but still Floyd has always been unreal. Like too good to be true, like when you watch him you feel like it’s a psychedelic experience almost because of how unreal yet real it is. And to those that think I’m being extra, go ahead and try to box or jab at the very least close to how beautifully Floyd does it, it’s hard, it’s tiring even with extreme stamina. Floyd constantly delivers perfect form and knows where his body parts are at all times. Can’t ever get off balance because he’s floating. And he may not be the hardest puncher, but what’s the point of even being one of you’re constantly getting jabbed in the mouth and nose with both hands while you’re trying to land a combo or shot. Trying to breath with that blood and leather in your face CONSTANTLY. Doesn’t take much to make a nose bleed either. Add to that having to be moving 24/7 to catch and avoid Floyd, you’re getting more tired, and his not even punching you hard, and when he does, may not knock you out or even down, but best believe you’re going to be in a survival match. Surviving getting hurt, or hit, but either way you’re getting embarrassed. These are facts. If Floyd caught Bud NOW, maybe he loses okay, but I know for a FACT he won’t look like Spence even at his age. Honestly I still don’t see Floyd losing now if he really trained for the fight, like watching his last fights and sparrings and knowing he ain’t really training like he used to but still looks that amazing, like yea, I’d still put all my money on Floyd TODAY.

IMO, only a few fighters I’ve seen would be capable of beating Floyd at his peak: Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Pernell Whitaker.

I do want to add that Prime Floyd would be every bit as capable of beating them as they would him.

I think Bud would have a good chance to beat an older Floyd (post-Miguel Cotto version) but I'd still give Floyd the slight edge to win.

A good question to ask is “Who would win the MAJORITY of the fights If X fighter fought at least X times against Floyd?”

Dont forget to stay humble. You think you would beat floyed is in a whole other realm than you can beat floyed. It’s hard to say cuz not many fighters had to make floyd think. He usually just makes 1 adjustment and win easy. With Crawford he’d have to think throughout the fight. We can almost say we don’t know how good floyd is cuz no one really pushed him
