I was there as a little boy, I went on to become a pro and I always remember thinking how special provans FK was but the older I got the more I appreciated just how AMAZING Frank mc g header really was, the guy dove almost Completely to his left so he was moving in the same directionas the balll to get on the end of it! One of the best headers I've ever seen

I was at that game what an atmosphere Frank mcgarvey was a great player he won us the cup that year and then the board stabbed him in the back and got rid of him he deserved a new contract and the fans knew it, as was proved the next season when Frank came back to parkhead with st mirren the reception he got nearly took the roof of parkhead I hope that Frank wins his battle with cancer a great guy and brilliant player
