Pink Floyd - What Shall We Do Now?

this is an unreleased track from The Wall, it was supposed to be where Empty Spaces currently is. I mixed up three different versions to make this: the movie version, the version from Is There Anybody Out There?, and Roger Waters’ version.

added some sound effects like the car after the “shall we drive a more powerful car?” line, a police siren, and the thunder at the end. this took me some time so I hope it came out good

When I first heard and saw the movie version of this song, I've never felt the same again about this song.

I watch this part in the movie repeatedly. OK, Gerald Scarfe, don't get me wrong - the animation for "Goodbye Blue Sky" was kick-ass. But for me "What Shall We Do Now" is the BEST animation in the whole thing. It's hypnotizing, seductive, and just GRABS you.

I will forever believe that a good portion of Pink Floyd's music is all the same album, just carefully disguised as multiple.

This is REALLY good. Man, that part at 2:36 was incredible, fuck he does the vocals really amazing at that part and the sound effects were a nice touch and mixed in nicely.

Really great, this is definitely my definitive version of the song now.

I was lucky enough to score a ticket and see The Wall at Nassau Coliseum on Wed Feb 27 1980. They played What Shall We Do Now, and I've always wondered why they didn't include it on the album when they did add filler like Nobody Home, Vera Lynn, and Bring The Boys Back Home. Comfortably Numb was just insane-the wall had been completed and Gilmour was standing atop the wall in a cherry picker playing the solos and singing his parts.
