In this tutorial, we will walk you through how to create an Amazon Listing Variation on Amazon Seller Central.

In creating a variation on Amazon Seller Central, you can either have different listings for each variation or you can combine those listings to create a variation listing. In creating a variation listing, you need to have a Parent and a Child listing. The child listing is an individual listing for each variation, this means that this is a physical product. The Parent listing on the other hand is the one that holds all of the child listings together. In this way, your buyer will have the option to select different variations by just viewing one listing.

Now let me show you how to do this on Amazon Seller Central.

Hey sir, how do you add variations if you have a different title for each product? FOr example that blue shirt will have a title like Blue Shirt, then Black shirt and so on.

Because when you create the variation like this, the title will be the same for all the variations. Except it will have a (Blue), (Black) at the end of the title for each variation. Hope you could help. Thanks.

You didn't associate the images in the variations tab, so how is this suppose to know which shirt goes with which variation.

Looking at shoes - and having just sizes, Why does the parent have to have to have an sku and size ? Cant the parent be the shoe ABC123 and then the variants / child are the SKU ABC123_10 and then each child has unique EAN, SKU and therefore stock. Or do you know have to create the parent as the smallest size ?

I have a productto sell that i have found the exact one and have the ASIN. The ASIN has 4 different colors listed but i only stock two colors, can i still use the ASIN or need to make my own listing with two color variations?

This was very helpful but my listings are still not correct. Amazon inventory page is showing 8 variations. There needs to be patent and variations should be listed under that parent listing. I have 2 colors 4 sizes. Has anyone encounter the same issue or it is just me? Thank you!

I registered my mpl brand but when I creating my product listing with deference variation here is two option Asin or gtin exemption which one I can chose for new listing the product does not available in Amazon it’s completely new product

I made 3 listings for 3 style of product (Yellow, White, Blue). In this case, if I want to group those listings as variaiton, do I need to delete all listing and start new? or I can make one additional listing and tie them up? Please help me...
