As a child of divorced parents I’m really glad that my parents can skill exist around each other. My dads always busy so I don’t stay with him often. I only really stay at his house like a couple times a year. But I see him a lot. He’ll take us out to dinner and even invites my mom, it makes me grateful that they don’t hate each other and are always lenient with each other about schedules and stuff.

I grew up with divorced parents but for me it wasn't like that because my dad gave my mom full custody of me and my brother because he knew he had a bad drinking problem. They got a divorce because he was a drunk but he wasn't violent but more like a toddler.

i had a best friend with divorced parents and that’s so accurate, I wouldn’t be able to hang out with her sometimes bc she’d be at her dads house. Unfortunately it seemed like both parents were very unstable and I really hope she’s doing okay now :/
