Whether you're a republican or Democrat we should absolutely be focusing on the fact that the only party right now focused on taking away people's right to live a happy and healthy life is the republican one. Meanwhile the economy is strong, unemployment is low, there's infistructure projects going on all over the country, and inflation is the lowest of all G7 nations. Who's really working for the people and who's really only out for themselves here?

As an OB/GYN I am sure she realizes the majority of abortions are NOT performed due to health issues. Most abortions are a form of birth control. This is why abortion is such a contentious issue. Unwanted pregnancies can be avoided but apparently your reproductive rights only matter after you slept with someone and found out you both created a human life.

This is deeply dishonest. Anencephaly does not mean the mother's life is at risk. This is true across the board. It has been stated by OBs across the country and even by the Cleveland Clinic. It is simply a tragic and life limiting diagnosis for the child. She wanted to abort, through a D and E abortion (a sick and violent way to end your child's life) because she simply no longer wanted to carry her baby to term after she found out they had a life limiting diagnosis, or deliver them early to allow them to die peacefully in her arms. Staying in Texas would not have put her life at risk, especially since Texas law allows abortions when the mother faces actual complications that could impact her health. Either doctors in Texas have not had this law clarified to them, or there are some who are deliberately misinterpreting it to scare women who've had ectopics, miscarriages, or fatal fetal anomalies. A mother who is okay with having her child pulled out in pieces because they just found out their baby will not live long outside of them, is simply not a mother. A true mother treats her child with human dignity.

I know a woman who had twins with anencephaly. She went into early labor at around 20 weeks. The babies both died naturally sometime right after delivery, and her and her husband have their little hand prints and footprints framed, and their little bodies cremated so they could spread their ashes. They were loved by their parents, right to the very end, even though their lives were very brief.

My cousin was told by the doctor that there was something wrong with the baby, and since she wasn't "normal", they could take abortion if they wanted. She is now a health girl with no problems
