There should be two types of OTP.
1st OTP before Open box delivery yet to happen .. take pictures of package condition and scan the barcode etc, 2nd OTP after open box completed and customer check the item and satisfied with it. Both OTPs will be real time (not early share one) and valid for 1 minute only. 2nd OTP will come after minimum waiting period of 10 minutes after sharing the 1st OTP. So that, there will be enough time for customer to check the product before sharing the final OTP. and these jaldi, hurry scenarios by delivery person won’t happen.

My Story (not fraud but strange) -

I ordered a 10K product. The size was quite big.
The courier guy came, asked me if the OTP came. I said yes, but didn't give him.
After searching in his bag, he said, he might had kept it at his office, and said sorry and asked for next day.
I said ok.
Next day, a different courier guy came with the item.
He delivered the item and said - "No need for the OTP, I already have it!"

Till today I think, how could he get the OTP?!!!
(no issue with the ordered product)

According to me, there should be two types of OTP

1. open box delivery OTP- if the user is happy with the product, then he will share the OTP for open box

2. Final order delivery OTP to prevent this scam.

Even if u order with exchange, the delivery person who comes to collect your exchange phone demands money else fails the phone in diagnostics and makes your exchange amount less. They demand money to pass test which if u dont give will end up getting less money for exchanged phone.

If they can’t open, you can open in front of them and then give the OTP, if it’s fake, kick that guy and take him to police station, if it’s real, give otp be happy or another option give fake otp when they say we can’t open, he’ll take the otp and go, you get a free product
