For closing reusable lunch box boxes, you could glue buttons to top cover and front side and attach to one another with covered elastic.

Love this!!  I'm going to use this in my zoology co-op class for the kids to make boxes to keep shells, etc... in.  We're going to duct tape over the edges and then decorate.  We're adding a duct tape strap and Velcro dots for closure.  Thanks for sharing this.  The ideas for uses are endless!

I realize that this is a very old video but I like the lunch box. I’m thinking you could skip the tape or gluing attachments by making a slit in the bottom side and a tab for the top like a styrofoam to-go box closure.

Thanks for sharing. I did make something out of an empty milk jug for myself at home and I find it very useful. Similar to what you shared but I made it into a bowl shape and used it for mixing my cleaning chemicals when I clean my house. It can also hold your toilet plunger just by cutting it open half way down leaving the handle. It's super handy!

I love this idea! You could use a hole punch and a cool string to tie it closed.

 ppl his idea is a guideline ... extend the lid more to get side tabs to help seal it and dont use tape ... use velcro...  or simple nut /screw and paper clip to close it.

did you know that you could melt the milk jugs down and turn them into hard plastic useful for making anything you need since milk jugs are hdpe they will not produce any harmful fumes at all

I love the glasses idea, but the milk cartons aren't durable enough to reuse like that and they won't stay closed without tape...

I wouldn't want to scar my kids like that LoL
