Thank you a lot! I had to re-install Windows 8.1 on my PC, so therefore the language automatically switched to English, while the keyboard remained in my native language. I thought I'll have to adapt to the new keyboard, but thankfully I came across this video.

Thank you. I hate windows hiding settings in ridiculous places. I'm running Windows 8.1 and it suddenly thinks the Japanese keyboard that I've been successfully using for 6 months is a U.S. keyboard. Even though my settings are for a Japanese keyboard and I hadn't changed them. What's more it shows "Unavailable" and a greyed-out keyboard icon if I try to go to the settings to change to a different keyboard after adding some as per this video. Argh! Who writes this rubbish! But thank you for the video.
