B-Wing Mark 2: A complete History (fan design/lore)

The B-Wing Mark 2 is an established ship in Star Wars canon, but we've only ever seen its cockpit. Two years ago, I imagined what the rest of the ship might look like. Now, I've revisited this design to give it more depth and detail.

This is such amazing work - I'm so glad to have been a part of it!

I can definitely see the B Mark II finding its way into the hands of bounty hunters. Boba's ship was formally a patrol craft, and the Mark II filled that role.

Someone probably has already said this, but having a bubble turret on the back suddenly make the rotating cockpit make more sense. Now the B-wing can do barrel roll-like maneuvers without pulling the rear gunner off target as much.

This would make a perfect hero ship, it's powerful enough to be a threat but not so much as to remove tension from smaller battles and it's big enough to house a small cast of main characters but still small enough to do some cool manoeuvres.

I love the inclusion of a interior/cabin. Really makes it feel like something practical. Most people wouldn't even consider crew comforts/accommodation.

That opening. . . Gorgeous. Just Gorgeous. The ship is amazing, the renders are amazing. These fan ships never cease to blow my mind. You do incredible stuff, man!

Please keep doing these, they are perhaps the best fan content I’ve seen

When I first subscribed: Cool ships
Later on: Cool ships with interiors and backstories
Now: Cool ships with interiors, backstories, and crew dossiers and portraits

I’m both excited and oddly terrified of what you’re gonna do next. Never change, man.

I almost thought this was from a cutscene. Glad to see another Bwing fan.

The standardized equipment slot should definitely be capable as an extended fuel pod as well, for those extra long missions, or when fuel is predicted to be in short supply

Just everything about this is insane! The interior design, the entire crew (!!!!), their helmets!

Could easily visualize being in the craft, and crew just adds so much more life to it. Props to you and the artists for making this, you guys are amazing.

I love the stripes on the S-foils, they're somewhat remniscent of WW2 US aircraft, which of course makes sense given the inspiration, but this is absolutely a fantastic design.

I could just see a bounty hunter or some rouge, a mandolorian, or just a freelancer getting ahold of one of these things and using it solo with a Droid after some modifications or with a partner. That would be cool to see.

The opening short was great. The revamped look fot the Mk.II B-Wing is amazing the old WW2 USAAF green with D-Day stripes on the S-foils is a beautiful visual touch.

Also I had a silly (and possibly wrong) idea that the crew's personalities/backstories in the video were maybe references to a couple Star Wars lore Youtubers...

Probably completely unintentional.

Your B-Wing design is beautiful and the lore is just greatly through out.

I still can't believe the consistent quality of this channel and the fan lore that comes with the incredible designs. Absolutely the most impressive outlet of star wars content I know. Apart from Fractal Sponge maybe.

Excellent video! I love idea of having a crew. It creates a human connection and makes the design feel more real and it presents the pros and flaws of the craft.
