It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.  We all have ups and downs.  You can only fail if you choose to stay down.  A small example: I took 3 years to start uploading videos to my YouTube channel because I lost confidence due to a setback.  If I had started uploading 3 years ago, who knows how successful it would be right now.
