Beautiful machine. However too much time was spent chatting about recycled materials. Ideally, a sustainable device would have user upgradeable/replaceable parts. That would be real sustainability.

Shame about the loss of the ThinkPad inverted T arrow keys with dedicated page up/down buttons. Kills it from a usability perspective for me as pg up/dn is used constantly for software dev/terminal work.

I was already a fan of the Gen 1 specs, and am glad about the improvements. Now go ahead Lenovo and give us an all-AMD detachable laptop/tablet.

Laptop is now 2 months delayed and there is no information from Lenovo about release date.
Lack of communication from the manufacturer seems quite unprofessional.
Can Lenovo tell us when laptop comes out?

Acer was able to deliver 1.1kg 16 inch OLED with Ryzen. Lenovo is offering 1.9kg with similar specs Z16...

Too bad you don't use traditional Thinkpad keyboard. Used over 10 models of Thinkpad, the keyboard is the most attractive part to me.

the one for non-retail, inserts I think can break the display, the one our company bought had a cracked display. If it was in the box it would disperse the impact across the surface. And display is too expensive, and mostly unavailable

Screen, amd processor, and sensel trackpad look good. Things to improve - Msi prestige 13 evo has a much larger 75Whr battery and weighs much less with more ports at similar size. This needs the x1 treatment of carbon fiber and magnesium to cut down on weight since it is already quite small but overly dense compared to the x1 nano.
