Statue of Liberty Striped Bass Fishing

In this episode of BlacktipH, I go fishing for Striped Bass near the Statue of Liberty by Manhattan, New York City. We were bottom fishing with live bunker, aka menhaden, where the Hudson River and East River meet the ocean. I had no idea that you could catch these big fish right by New York City!

Striped bass fishing is awesome that’s one of the things I miss about Jersey . Working bunker schools at first light right to the beach or surf casting for them is awesome . Only thing that sucks is the cold weather
