2:26 kayle is far better mid. short lane, so harder to zone her, and harder to bully her. also, her ult and w allow her to basically shut down most mid laners from being able to ever even bother 1v1ing her. also, most mid laners struggle to have any actual ability to pressure her early in the 1v1. short lane also makes her safer from enemy jungler while she tries to reach early spikes. essentially, mid lane champs cant cause her issues in the early game, while top lane champs can.

I feel like Ashe is a pretty good counter to Jhin, since his playstyle revolves around weaving in and out of the fight to avoid taking damage during his own damage downtime. Ashe invalidates that playstyle, forcing Jhin to take more damage than usual and giving Ashe free lethal tempo stacks in the process.

Additionally, Jhin wants Boots of Swiftness before mythic item, meaning Ashe will have a massive power spike when she gets Shieldbow. I believe that fight happened directly on that powerspike.

You obviously have to make a mistake to lose a 2v1 that early, but the mistake is probably reaching for a boundary that was way closer than they thought.

I don't mind her zombie revive mechanic though partly because you can still target them while in zombie mode unlike with the Chemtech soul so its not as annoying. Still a odd mechanic but I like the fact that she doesn't look like she's out of an anime protag line-up.

A lot of people are saying that Renata's W is actually completely useless for the revive most of the time. Like, if it goes off, it creates a cool play, but most of the time it doesn't go off.

Personally I think that they should replace it with giving the target regenerating health over the course of the buff, which scales with their missing health. Now, it's taking up far less of the power budget and allows them to lower the cooldown. While it is lower power at max, it is more consistent, making it actually a better ability.

One reason I've seen argued with kayle being better mid is that she takes up the ap carry that mid laners normally offer instead of her taking up a the slot that usually has tanks/bruisers so it leads to better team comps.
