We will find what percent, %=?, of all people have an IQ greater than
Einstein’s IQ score of 160 of a standard normal distribution representing IQ scores with a mean=100 and a standard deviation=10.

Professor Walter Lewin 's badges and your Bow ties have their own legacy.

I would note that the normal distribution is a mathematical model that captures nearly the actual distribution of real life measures, in this case IQ. It is also used for weight, length, BMI, etc. The difference of the normal distribution with the real world is the presence of lower and upper bounds. There is nobody with negative IQ, nor an IQ above 1000.

Sorry Mr Van Biezen, but the distribution of IQs is supposed to follow a normal law of mean 100 and standard deviation 15.

Hey Sir, could you do a video on D Operator and Inverse D Operator please?

Hi, I have one math question: A water tank at a filtration plant is built in the shape of an inverted cone with height 5.2m and diameter 5m at the top. Water is being pumped into the tank at a rate of 1.2 m^3/min. Find the rate at which the water level is rising when there is 8 pi m^3 of water. I have no idea how to find the solution.

Hi Professor, thanks for the video. Not sure why so many ppl are stuck up on the exact number of an IQ, given that the IQ system in and of itself is flawed. But regardless it still does work to some extent and this video is a great example to help understand probability distributions and how they work, thanks!

Do you ever review papers? I’ve been watching and learning from you for awhile and would like you opinion. Thanks so much.

If Einstein had an IQ of 160 in ~1940 then would that be equivalent to a 160 in 2020? How often do they update IQ bell curves?

how you decided that Einstein have iq~160 ?

Oops. I think IQ is defined with mu = 100 and stdev = 15, not 10.

Mr. van Biezen's IQ? I'd say it is impressive, guessing 140 to 160?
