“You’ve seen me before. You’ll see me again” really motivates the hell outta me for some reason

This sounds more like a villain song than the final version

I can't tell which one I like more: I'm Gonna Win or All Of My Friends

Tally Hall: Beginning of the story, full of optimism, full of hope. Not at all naïve or blind to the harshness of reality, but still relatively fresh faced and ready to make a commitment.
Rob Cantor: End of the story, no hope. Beaten down, swallowed by the hidden truths that most ignore for their own sanity. That same resolve and commitment is still there, just as strong as ever, but harder, more bitter, almost more spiteful than anything.

I’m personally more of an All My Friends person, but this version is undoubtedly better produced.

I feel like Freddie Mercury would enjoy this song. Reminds me of a vigilante version of somebody to love

Lyrics! :)
My life is a constant entrapment of tunnels
Which tangle and wind and beguile
And regardless of where I may tumble or funnel
I wonder what’s really worthwhile

Sometimes it can seem like a merciless dream
And I’m falling with nothing to hold
Sometimes I get flustered and beaten and blistered
Abandoned outside in the cold

But I’m gonna win
I’m gonna try
I’ll never lose
I’ll never die
You’ve seen me before
You’ll see me again
I’ll never give up
I’ll never give in
‘Till I’m bloody and bruised
‘Till I’ve broken my bones
‘Till I won’t be abused
‘Till I’m laughing alone

It’s hard to be charming and smart and disarming
It’s hard to pretend you’re the best
It’s hard to fulfill everyone’s expectations
It’s hard to keep up with the rest

But I’m gonna win
I’m gonna try
I’ll never lose
I’ll never die
You’ve seen me before
You’ll see me again
I’ll never give up
I’ll never give in
‘Till I’m bloody and bruised
‘Till I’ve broken my bones
‘Till I won’t be abused
‘Till I’m laughing alone

How do you feel?
You’ve been concealing your worries from the world
But you can reveal them to me

I wouldn’t know
I go on even though
I’ll be bloody and bruised
I’ll be breaking my bones
I’ll be paying my dues
I’ll be laughing alone

honestly I think this, "All of my friends" and Rob Cantor's are all really good. I think they're all equally deserving of being listened to.

Wow, this one kinda has a Wheezer feel. Pretty cool. This version is probably my favorite of all of them.

I kinda think I’ve overthinks the line You’ve seen me before you’ll see me again..

Rob Cantor used to be part of Tally Hall before it disbanded. He reused this song in his album. Which was way after tally hall disbanded.. we saw him once in tally hall. We see him again in Not a Trampoline..

The song feels like a reprise of All My Friends in a musical

Pretty sure this is the original version of All of my Friends, like how they have al the original versions of the MMMM songs
Either that or All of my Friends is the original, but I don’t think that’s the case

EDIT: okay All of my Friends is the original song, it changed three different times until it became the Rob Cantor version

This still a bop tho
