This method honestly has worked on every car I’ve used. Just set the tuning to the most drift possible and you can do this method. I’ve used b tier cars through s+ tier cars and they have all worked

Its kinda dumb that the drifting score is based just on distance instead of speed and angle. It just turns every drift challenge into an annoying slalom

I did a 180sx drift build with the stock engine (purist build I guess?) tuned to 450HP, Elite Suspension, Super Brakes, Stock Tires and Elite Differential. The car is set to 60% drift with high steering sensitivity and low downforce (3 to the left) with Drift Entry being Gas or Brake Tap. The car slides effortlessly and steering input is required at low speed drifts. But at mid to high speed turns the 180SX is a dream to slide. Completed all Drift Zones including beating the rivals. A fun car that I built in 5 minutes after watching the drifting videos by other youtubers.

This worked perfectly, even on a smaller scale cause I did not have enough cash earned yet, so I built a Nissan Silvia Spec Aero in A+ for now, and went from no stars to all the stars! Thanks, I subscribed :)

Thx) it really worked, but this method has one tiny drawback - the time limit as when you microdrifting it takes additional time)

I've done this for a lot of arcade racers. Even in Forza Horizon I'm usually drifting back and forth since a lot of the roads have long straight sections that don't allow you to get a lot of angle and are too long to maintain a drift and if you just drive normally you build up too much speed to drift the next corner.

ok so I feel like this is just a bit ridiculous so I’d love to share my build and it’s quite frankly super simple.

I actually used rocky’s 190e with drift tires and a 5 speed transmission. U also need to to put the car in 73% drift and the rest of the settings are up to taste. This build can really hold a drift, yes an actual drift and not continuous micro drifts, but has a bit of an issue off the line. The car basically feels like it’s on ice and it gets worse off-road as well. However once you do get it to start moving it would be so satisfying to drift with. I beat all drift activities with the rivals as well. Just like trigger said sometimes you may end up running out of time so aside from actual practice to get used to this car you may have to simply get the needed points and just continue driving to the last checkpoint.

I really hope this helps others as much as it did to me and thank you trigger for this cool video.

Thanks my guy. Before this video, despite my pretty decent drift skills, I could not score well at any drift event or activity. So much so that I avoided drift activities altogether. Still need to build some more event drift cars, but I spent the last 3 hours clearing all the currently unlocked drift activities. Worked like a charm. The A tier car is nerfed in every area that could drop rank to push the power to the tier limit. The car is slow but has more than enough torque to mico-drift into sweeping drifts.

Works really well with the 180SX. Don't even need to build it up all the way. I built it so that it would still be in S-tier if I put on race suspension/tires/handling config.
