Intex Pool Chemical Startup. Well water to crystal clear!

In this video I go over how to remove the iron in the well water of your intex pool and all of the chemicals and measurements that you will need to start it. Just a note, if you lift the filter pump above the height of the intake hoses, you can easily change the filter without losing water.

Hey! Thanks for the videos. We have officially subscribed. Quick question though, only because we also have well water and are going to attempt putting up a pool this season. I am going to pay a company to deliver water and use one of the hose filters when I need to periodically add water. My pool is a lot bigger

Since you are getting rid of iron, specifically wouldn’t magnets help?

Why not just use an inline rv style filter while filling pool? Edit: I used an online filter and my pool is still green and filter is dark brown in just a few hours. I did use city water but we are in the country.

Helpful hint!!! cover your inlets with panty hose footies and a hair tie .. keeps the tiny bugs from getting into your filter folds..

Which pump is best to use with well water a filtered or sand ?

Have you considered using food grade peroxide with a uv filter?

If you don’t have well water or brownish water after filling, you can add a saltwater pump between your pool pump and inlet and add the recommended amount of pool salt for the size of your pool and it stays crystal clear. That is what I do, but water is clear already. My friend has a different water supply and her pool water was brownish from the get go. I’ll show her your video because she has spent so much $ trying to get it clear I’d be afraid to get in her pool because of all the chemicals she’s added.

We just got a 16x10x42 oval pool and having the same issue. We have a PH stabilizer for our well but pool looks like yours. What should we do?

2 rv filters and a 36 oz jug with poly fil and small holes drilled in the jug and garden hose clear pool water on first fill.... replace poly fil "IF" needed.
