I got the 5/1 tool. Not bad not great but fine for me at this point. You are always very entertaining and free with your knowledge. That's one thing that I have noticed with leather workers, their desire to share knowledge. The lineman community is generally content to just scream at you or call you a dumbass( I'm one the geezers screaming so I know it's true). Thanks for the content.

The mini hammer is a "stitching finisher hammer" (rough name translate). It is used for hammering down the thread into the leather to make the stitch looks nicer. I have seen many old leatherworkers use this kind of hammer or something very similar. This kind of hammer has to be light and have a smooth surface so it wouldn't scratch or damage the leather, but just heavy enough to drive the thread into the leather. It's more of a specific purpose tool when making small leather goods.

I love tiny tools! I have a tiny anvil, and this tiny hammer is the perfect proportion for it! It would also be the perfect size for my tiny hands, normal size tools are always too big for me 😂

I downloaded the card holder pattern. I had my doubts at first, but after a few days of use while on vacation I can safely say I am not disappointed. Easy pattern (especially with my skill level) does not need a large piece of leather, I used a scrap piece. Great video, I will get more patterns from your shop.
