How to Check the e-Apostille (PDF) Electronic Apostille Certificate

This is a short video demonstrating how to check the e-apostille that you have received via email. The e-apostille and the document that received the e-apostille are both inside the PDF.

To open the PDF, you must use Adobe Reader.
Once you've opened the PDF, you'll see the cover sheet that also explains how to access your document and the e-apostille.

Clicking on the paper clip icons opens either the attached document or the e-apostille.

First on the list is the document that you have submitted to be apostilled. It contains the electronic signature of the notary.
The second attachment is the electronic apostille certificate.

You can click on the "signature' to check that it is valid and verified.

Now you know how to check the e-apostille.

You can now forward your PDF with the e-apostille to the requesting authority or to multiple authorities simultaneously if required.
