2) U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced a new series of sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran, as part of Washington’s “maximum pressure campaign” against Tehran’s malign activities.
3) Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps vowed to destroy Tel Aviv from Lebanese soil, prompting a series of condemnations from Beirut.
