Rdr2 is open world at its peak. Even tho it’s not technically the largest it just has the most amount of quality in it. The unique NPCs, the changing climate, different wild life and cultural shifts from region to region is something that has simply never been topped in my mind

For me RDR2 is the best game in every aspect. The weather, the day night circle, the diversity between flora and fauna in the map and every other detailed things are more realistic than any other games on this list.

Odyssey is my fav map of all time. I spent over 300 hours completing that game, and half of that was probably just running through the cities and imagining life in that era. The islands where there are temples and gardens all over are stunning and so immersive. Exploring ancient Greece in that game was so much fun.

AC odyssey gives you the best sense of actually being in a massive beautiful world in my opinion. Each island feels like a mini open world all on its own..
