I love how it just falls over on it's side when it lands. Like it's had a rough day at work.

It's interesting how they won't disclose what altitude the U2 flies at in 2020. When the U2 spy plane was built it could fly 70000 ft, it has been heavily upgraded in every area since then. It flies at closer to 90, 000 in 2020.

Lt.Col. Robert A Ray Jr. was my JROTC instructor in high school!!! It must have been a really awesome adventure to experience those flights, I feel privileged to have known him..

This version is about 40" shorter than the original version.  I wonder why they edited out the sections that they did.
Maybe someone can post the full 8 minute version.

There is a pretty amazing story of two EELs that climbed to a U2's height, then cruised next to the U2 for a while, then descended.

And it's way more flexible than a sattelite is, plus a sattelite hasn't got a lot of fuel, so changing it's orbit isn't something that is done at leisure.
Also due to it's orbit, a satellite is very predictable, so the enemy can move it's assets while the satellite is away.

And then there is the fact that a U-2 can loiter to collect SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) and ELINT (Electronical Intelligence).
A satellite can't do that.
Like the SR-71 the U-2 is flexible, they were one hell of a team

C'mon. "Half the Ufo sightings were of U2's? I mean, it's not like it doesn't look like a plane. Good video though.
